Sheila is an academic professional and a professional academic.
 Her academic career spans 20 years and includes two National Diplomas (Human Resources and Labour Relations), Honors in Human Resources Management, Master’s in Business Administration and a PhD in Philosophy. Sheila is passionate about empowering the next generation and provides academic guidance and tutoring to students completing the Master’s degree. Since obtaining her PhD, Sheila has specifically assisted 3 students where English is their second language with academic writing skills to successfully complete their dissertations.

She has a unique blend of career experience, with 10 years’ experience in Customer Services and Office Administration as well as 20 years’ experience in Human Resources. During her career she has held various roles including Customer Services Agent, Customer Services Supervisor, Senior Clerk, Research and Development Specialist, Training Manager, Learning and Development Manager, Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Executive. Currently she is a Human Resources Professional Consultant where her focus is on management development and coaching. Additionally, she has business experience in the Financial, Manufacturing, Transport, Automotive, Logistics and Public Services sectors.

Sheila is an avid reader and can spend many hours reading from a diverse selection of books. She also enjoys travelling and has visited 15 countries around the world. She values spending quality time with close family and friends.
