Jessica M

Jessica holds an MBA, emphasis accounting as well as a Postgraduate Degree in education (iPGCE). She has over ten years of experience in the financial sector that includes general ledger accounting, personal banking, small business banking, and investment advising. She has also worked for over 8 years in education and has professional development certificates in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Framework.

Jessica’s transition from financial employment to the educational sector occurred when she and her family moved from the United States to Finland in 2015.  At this point in time, Jessica was given the privilege of not only learning about the International Baccalaureate Framework, but also studying the world renown Finnish education system, which in Jessica’s opinion, uses students’ greatest strengths to address any challenges they might face.

Jessica is a has lived in Finland, Germany, Canada, and the United States. She speaks fluent German and has attained basic proficiency in Finnish. She is now back in her home state of California and has been specializing in English-language tutoring and business/academic consulting.

Jessica is also a classically trained singer who has a particular fondness for the vocal works of Mozart. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and daughter.  Jessica has a special place in her heart for the appreciation of all-things baseball. She believes that almost any situation in life can be compared to the triumphs and challenges faced on the baseball field if one pauses and notice small details.
